Animal Adaptations
God designed animals in unique ways to suit their unique environments. Learn how the animals around us stay warm and dry through the changing seasons. This workshop is one hour in length. (Max. 20 students.)
Animal Signs
Through games, interactive activities, and fun, students will learn about the tracks and scat of animals commonly found in the GTA. Students will also make track casts and embark on a guided hike to look for animal signs. This workshop is two hours in length. (Max. 15 students.)
Beaks, Feathers, and Bones
View real bird beak specimens, and then experiment with tools to figure out which beak is best for the job! Through hands-on fun, learn about feathers and how they work. Discover how strong a bird’s hollow bones can be. This workshop is one hour in length. (Max. 20 students.)
Blast Into Space!
Do you have what it takes to be an astronaut? Explore the universe with astrophysics and aerodynamics. Make rockets, experiment with air pressure, make galaxy slime, and have a BLAST! This workshop is one hour in length. (Max. 20 students.)
Creation Care Superheroes!
What does it mean to care for creation? Make a Creation Care Superhero mask, build an insect habitat out of natural and recycled materials, and create a pollinator plant seed bomb. This workshop is one hour in length. (Max. 15 students.)
Crazy Chemistry
From glow-in-the-dark volcanoes to liquids that change colour and lots more, this one-hour workshop is loaded with explosive fun! (Max. 20 students.)
Fabulous Physics
See a hovercraft in action and then make your own mini hovercraft to take home. Watch a high-pressure bottle rocket launcher in action, then make your own balloon-powered rocket to race. Experiment with a non-Newtonian substance and find out why it behaves the way it does. This one-hour workshop is hands-on, exciting, and fun! (Max. 20 students.)
Vernal Pools
There’s a special place in the forest where creatures have adapted in incredible ways to their unique environment. Learn about tiny shrimp that live right here in Ontario, frogs that freeze nearly solid, amphibians that can clone themselves, and more! In this two-hour guided hike, participants will visit a series of vernal pools and learn about the incredible creatures that live there. Available in March/April only.

In this series of six workshops, each lasting an hour, students will explore each day of creation. Workshops include:

- Day #5 – Birds, Insects, and Fish
- Day #6 – Animals and Stewardship

Outer Space
In this series of five workshops, each lasting an hour, students will explore the world outside our planet. Workshops include:
- Day #1 – Preparing for Lift Off (How NASA Tests Space Technology)
- Day #2 – Blasting into Space (Rockets)
- Day #3 – Life on the ISS (Surface Tension, Food, Animals in Space)
- Day #4 – Galaxies and Black Holes (Galaxy Slime, Centrifugal Force, Black Hole Demo, Spaghettification)
- Day #5 – The Planets and Earth’s Moon (Planetary Conditions, Moon Craters)
